Nettlecombe Farm
Isleofwight
Nettlecombe Farm is nestled in the glorious countryside of Whitwell on the Isle of Wight. This self catering holiday accommodation provides so much more than just a place to stay. Set on a farm owned by the Morris family for over a century, visitors are encouraged to explore the farm and say hello to the friendly farm animals.
When the kids need to burn some energy, they are spoiled for choice with a selection of grassy play areas, with toddlers play equipment, a wendy house, a giant wooden tractor and a climbing facility. For the older children there is also a sports area ideal for ball games etc. In the springtime, the farm might need some help with feeding the orphan lambs if there are any eager helpers! Other Nettlecombe Farm activities include fishing at the well stocked lakes, yoga within the modern function barn, plus exploring the farmland and surrounding countryside too of course - perfect for walking and cycling.
Nettlecombe Farm offers attractive, self catering barns, cottages and stables - all beautifully converted into comfortable, modern holiday accommodation. There is a choice of nine different options, ranging from sleeping three, up to a maximum of ten visitors. All accommodation and is clean and fully equipped to a high standard. Full specifications of each holiday letting can be found on the official website. The farm is also dog friendly.
Whitwell is a quiet village situated near the larger seaside town of Ventnor. A historic pub, church, petrol station and bus stop are down the hill from the farm. Two miles away is the village of Niton, with a large general store for your groceries and a post office.
