Robin Hill Adventure Parks and Gardens
Isleofwight
Robin Hill Adventure Parks and Gardens has activities to offer every visitor to the Isle of Wight, being one of the most popular things to do, with both locals and visitors like. The Electric Woods is a stunning reason to visit Robin Hill after dark! The superb outdoor cinema is also proving very popular.
The main rides include the Toboggan Run, the Cows Express children's train ride, the Colossus Swinging Galleon, Time Machine and the BIG Green Tractor Train. In addition to this, with over 80 acres of beautiful countryside, there is plenty of space for the children to burn off lots of energy, enjoying the many play areas and activities.
There are lots of natural sights to explore within the grounds, from Red squirrels, to butterflies, to a historic buried Roman Villa! Robin Hill also has a fantastic Falconry Centre. The are spectacular displays twice a day.
Throughout the season, there are various organised events, not to be missed. One event is The Island Highland Gathering, in aid of Earl Mountbatten Hospice. Not forgetting of course that Robin Hill is the home of Bestival, one of the biggest UK music festivals, organised by Radio 1 DJ Rob da Bank. New for February 2013 was The Spirit of the Orient, a wonderful celebration of the Chinese new year.
