With miles of stunning scenery, the Isle of Wight boasts some of the best walks in England. Whether you are seeking a relaxing stroll by the coast, or a more challenging romp in the countryside, there is something for everyone.

Isle of Wight Walking Festival - An annual event not to be missed is the week-long walking festival, held each May. This includes 'Walk the Wight'... a 26 mile walk from Bembridge to The Needles, in aid of the Isle of Wight Hospice. You can however also choose to complete a 12 or 14 mile portion of the route. For those of you with buggies or wheelchairs, there is an alternative 8 mile flat walk. Throughout the week, various walks are arranged and celebrated. Organised Walks - How about joining various organised walks throughout April to September? Further information can be found here. These walks are a fantastic chance to meet new people and learn about the area from your guide. For most walks you can just turn up on the day!
