Isle of Wight Steam Railway

The Isle of Wight Steam Railway is one of the most popular Isle of Wight attractions, with adults and children alike. The kids will love the thrill of the ride, travelling through the countryside with exhilarating fresh air blowing through the window of the carriage, under the power of a steam engine. Adults will love the train station, friendly staff in traditional uniform, not to mention the enchanting steam trains, beautifully maintained and cared for. There's a museum and refreshment rooms too.

If all that's not enough, you can book a one-hour session for a hands-on experience with Haven Falconry, learning about a variety of birds including owls, hawks and falcons! There is also a gift shop, a large free car park, plus full disabled access to Havenstreet Station and most trains.

There are some great events at the IW Steam Railway every year. Christmas at the IW Steam Railway is a very special time for the attraction, with a special train service running on selected days throughout December.
